Atypical medieval castle with refined interior near Angoulême

Angoulême

Description

This completely atypical period castle with its refined Moroccan interior decoration in white and green tones is located on 8 hectares of land between meadows, woods and a stream.
It is made up of a main Charente-style dwelling of 450 m² located between two medieval towers from the 12th/15th century and is surrounded by dry moats.
This place also includes a barn of 105 m² and a barn of 180 m² renovated and usable in particular for events, as well as a 115 m² cottage nicely decorated. The building is very bright thanks to the rooms which are full of openings (doors , window, openings) and the white limestone walls outside. The floors are tiles or mainly wood. The interior walls are made of Charente stones, sometimes painted or are deliberately left raw without finishing, which adds to the charm of the castle.
This soothing, unusual and privileged setting will be perfect for hosting your events, filming or photo shoots.
